Downtown to the top of the hill. Lower campus to upper campus. From your first year to your last, Bloomsburg is here to help you have the best experience possible, wherever you wish to live it.
Move on in. Student housing is always available for first-year and transfer students, making college life easier from the start.
Learn and live. Learning Communities are home to Huskies with shared academic paths, so they can all climb together.
Stretch your legs. When you're ready for the responsibilities and rewards of living off campus, you'll find plenty of eclectic options with university affiliates or others in town.
Food for every comfort level. Face it: you've got to eat. And here, we take your hunger — and your healthy dietary needs — seriously. It starts with our flagship dining location, Scranton Commons, and goes upward to Monty's, a cafe-style spot with a view, situated nicely on upper campus. Busy? Then it's to the Husky Lounge we go for overstuffed wraps, fresh bagels and made-from-scratch soups. On the go? There's always Qdoba, Steak 'n Shake, Subway, Chik-fil-A and Starbucks, as well as select lobby kiosks and outside food carts for meals really on the move.
There are no idle moments here. You're either pushing yourself into new academic territory or making memories with your fellow Huskies. There are more than 250 clubs and organizations for you to consider.

This winter, the team played on the national stage for the first-time ever as a Division II club sport that’s made the playoffs three times in the past four seasons. Add in a Greater Northeastern Collegiate Hockey Conference title in 2016, and that makes quite a run for BU’s hockey club.

With nearly 500 student participants, Bloomsburg University’s 17th annual 5k Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/Run raised $10,524 this fall for the PA Breast Cancer Coalition. October’s tally brings the fundraiser’s 17-year total to more than $170,000 to benefit women diagnosed with breast cancer and support the families of those who’ve lost the battle. The event is coordinated annually by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
