Availability of Funds

Financial aid funds will be tentatively disbursed as follows.    Funds not needed to cover the student's bill will be refunded to the student approximately 3-5 business days after these dates.  Students who have not signed up for direct deposit will have the funds mailed to their home address.  If you have not signed up for direct deposit and wish to do so, please contact the Bursar Office (570)389-4013.  Remember these are tentative dates and are subject to change.








Summer 2013 (Term Dates 5/20/13 to 8/09/13) Loans Only - All Grants will be disbursed mid-July


  • Session 1 (5/20/13 - 8/9/13):  May 29

  • Session 2 (5/20/13 - 6/28/13):   If you are enrolled in both Session 2 and Session 3, you must be enrolled at least half-time (undergraduate 6 credits - graduate 5 credits) in Session 2 to receive funds on May 29.  Otherwise disbursement will be July 10.

  • Session 3 (7/1/13 - 8/9/13):   July 10

Fall 2013 (Term Dates 8/26/13 to 12/13/13)


  • September 4


Spring 2014 (Term Dates 1/27/14 to 5/16/14)


  • February 5
