Please check your major to ensure there is an available spot and you're meeting any program-specific deadlines, as several of our majors are highly competitive. This is especially true for our CCNE-accredited nursing program, which requires applications to be received by Dec. 1 prior to next fall semester. Decisions are not made on a rolling basis for nursing, unlike the vast majority of our undergraduate programs.
Additionally, there are several highly competitive majors for transfer applicants. Please apply early for best consideration. Good luck. We look forward to your application!
Their textbook was Lake Michigan.
And for the group of Bloomsburg University students who spent two weeks this summer in the field exploring different geoscience and environmental aspects of the Michigan Basin, they wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
“My biggest take away is the picture this trip painted for me,” said Mitchell Lenker, a junior geology major, professional track. “I have learned so much in the classroom. This however only goes so far for someone's understanding of the topics at hand. This trip helped to tie the topics in the classroom and into real world applications.”
“The experiences on this trip are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Getting to be in the field with a professor for one day is one thing, but being about to spend two full weeks with three amazing professors you not only gain great field skills, you also make some pretty great friends and connections that could help you in the future.”
Each year, Bloomsburg University admissions counselors visit almost 400 high schools throughout the region, as well as Delaware, Maryland, New York and New Jersey. In addition, we attend many college fairs in high schools and community colleges.
Find out which counselor will visit your school. We look forward to meeting you! If your school is not listed, please contact any one of our counselors who will gladly answer your questions and help you learn more about why we're "A great place to be you!"
Our admissions process
» Applications received by December will get priority consideration, especially for our competitive majors.
» If you are interested in nursing, you need to apply by Dec. 1!
» We make decisions on a rolling basis (except nursing). Once your application is completed, it will take up to six weeks to receive a decision. We make decisions continuously until majors are full.
