Help Desk
Duties: Provide first level technical support to end-users (via telephone, email, walk-in) and enter requests on help desk website. Assist students with campus technology including but not limited to logins, passwords, email, network, wireless, ResComp, and compute registration. Assist faculty and staff with technology related questions such as email, network, IMPS (Instructional Media Presentation Station), wireless, and printing.
Requirements for job: Must possess intermediate to advanced level of technical skills with PCs including CD-ROM/DVD, USB flash drives, hard drives, Windows and Office. Individuals should be self-motivated, reliable, possess good communication skills, and be able tosolve problems on their own. We are looking for students with positive attitudes who will treat others with kindness.
Computer Science, Computer Information Science, or Business Information Systems students preferred.
Prefer students who live locally who are willing to work semester breaks and summer session.
Help desk is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 7:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Lab Consultant
Assist students in a computer lab environment. Maintain printers and overallcondition of lab. Provide basic troubleshooting and work with Lab Manager to make sure all computers are in working order
Exam Scanning Operator
Duties: Exam Scanning, CustomerService, Clerical Duties,
Requirements: Basic Computer Skills and Customer Service Skills
Maximum Hours: FALL / SPRING = 20 HRS/WK MAX SUMMER 0-2 CREDITS: 40HRS/WK MAX SUMMER 2+ CREDITS: 20 HRS/WK MAX
