Contact Bob Wislock via email or phone 389-4529.

The Supervisory Roundtable is committed to providing quality training programs for Bloomsburg University staff and supervisors. The Roundtable coordinates numerous campus and community service activities.

Who We Are

The Supervisory Roundtable is led by Dr. Bob Wislock of the Social Equity Department. Current members include Kim Martz, Jeanne Fitzgerald, Len Tomashefski, Norm Manney, Jimmy Ulshafer, Jill Bond, Brenda Pitonyak, John Holtzman, Judy Ohl, Glenda Vansock, and Gary Melnick. In addition, two retired members who remain very active in our fundraising efforts include Jolene Folk and Jack Pollard.

What We Do

In addition to providing quality training programs for Bloomsburg University staff and supervisors, the Roundtable coordinates numerous campus and community service activities. These include, but are not limited to:

Highway cleanup. Our adopted highway is along Lightstreet Road, near the Route 80 ramp. Coordinated by the Supervisory Roundtable, other university staff/faculty are always encouraged to take part in this worthwhile event.

Continuing Ed Workshops

Lunch-n-Learn sessions and workshops offered to faculty and staff. Past workshops included things such as effective writing, conflict management, HR ethics, workplace attitudes and D.I.R.T. (are you a Doer?  Influencer?  Relater?  Thinker?).

Yearly fundraisers (sandwich, train sales). Funds donated to initiatives/organizations such as Camp Hero, Bloomsburg Children's Museum, Katrina and Tsunami Relief Funds, and academic scholarships.

Just Because Coffee

Coffee and cookies provided to students, faculty and staff in the spring and fall "just because" - to share cheer!

United Way Trash To Treasure Sale

This program, beginning in May 2005, has been coordinated by University roundtable members, university staff/faculty, the United Way, and the Columbia County Sheriff's Department through the County Commissioners. A key sponsor includes WHLM 930 AM Radio.

All monies have been donated to the Columbia County United Way in Bloomsburg, PA.

BU Holiday Food Drive

Yearly food drive to provide donations to local community residents in need.

Toys for Tots

In conjunction with the US Marines, works on the Toys for Tots campaign to help provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children who might otherwise be overlooked during the holiday season.

All fundraisers/sales benefit university and community-wide initiatives. We welcome volunteers at all events.
