A place for convenient, fun and stress free recreation where you can run the indoor track, enjoy a quick game of racquetball, or join an aerobics class. The Rec is generally open seven days per week regardless of weather.
TRX Suspension Training
Experience an amazing and efficient way to workout with just one simple piece of equipment. Everyone can benefit from Suspension Training. You can effortlessly control the resistance and level of difficulty by simply shifting the position of their body, the TRX suspension trainer is perfect for gentle rehabilitation, hardcore athletic training, and everything in between.

What is HuskyFit?
HuskyFit classes are workouts that incorporate constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements. Primary goal of these workouts is to improve your overall level of fitness and health.
It encourages a constant progression of self by giving you a means to achieve and surpass your current health and fitness goals. HuskyFit is truly designed for people of all fitness levels. HuskyFit Classes
The Rec's Services and Facilities
Services include wireless Internet access in the lounge, free personal training 570-389-4822, guest passes, free lock rentals, accessibility services, equipment check-out, facility reservations, racquet ball court reservations, rec center space reservations, locker rooms with showers, first aid and vending machines.
Fitness Room - A 6,000 square-foot cardiovascular area featuring a variety of equipment, including Precor and Star Trac ellipticals and treadmills, climbers, stationary and recumbent bikes, Arc Trainers and complete Cybex strength training circuit.
Weight Room - A 6,000 square-foot free weight area featuring Cybex and Body Master's benches, squat racks, a multi-station cable cross, a dead-lift area and complete set of barbells/dumbbells up to 100 lbs.
Multi-Purpose Room - A specially designed floating wood floor used for aerobics classes, martial arts, club and intramural meetings, wellness classes, dance and floor exercise. The Rec offers a full schedule of aerobic and group exercise classes throughout the week.
Main Arena - Composed of four 84' x 50' basketball courts utilized for indoor tennis and volleyball. A 1/8 mile jogging track circles the basketball courts. A fifth court is located in an adjacent gymnasium.
Racquetball Courts - Four glass backed racquetball courts that are also adaptable for wallyball.
Jogging Track - An one-eighth mile jogging track surrounding four of the multi-use courts.
Climbing Wall - A 30-foot Entreprises imprint climbing wall and free from boulder area is located just off the lobby.
