In order to ensure psychology students are fully prepared to enter a highly competitive employment or graduate school setting, the Department of Psychology provides a variety of opportunities to complement students' coursework to include research, internships, teaching assistantships and conferences.

Psychology Association

Psychology Association, a student club, is open to any psychology major or minor. This group is student-run, with officers elected each year. The group usually meets every two weeks to discuss issues pertinent to students and to socialize.

Psi Chi

Psi Chi, psychology's honor society, each semester invites the highest ranking psychology majors. Founded in 1929, Psi Chi encourages, stimulates, and maintains excellence in scholarship, and advances the science of psychology.

Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications.
