Psychology Awards and Scholarships
Distinguished Student in Psychology Award
Each year several students are nominated and one is chosen for the Distinguished Student in Psychology Award. The Psychology Department faculty give nominations and select the top student. This is a prestigious and highly respected award. It is presented at a University-wide ceremony in April.
General Psychology Work and Study Position
This position not only provides some funding for the recipient but also gives the student additional experience which will increase the likelihood of funding in graduate school. This student works directly with the General Psychology faculty. Contact the Psychology Department Secretary to apply.
Ellen Barker Scholarship
This scholarship is given to a non-traditional age psychology major. Contact the Psychology Department Secretary to apply.

Kozloff Undergraduate Research Awards
The awards are given to capable students who have conceptualized and initiated a scholarly project under the direction of a faculty mentor. The awards are given primarily to juniors and seniors.
