New Freshman:

Congratulations on your admission to Bloomsburg University! We are so excited to have you on campus as the newest member of the Husky family! In order to ease your transition to BU, the New Student Orientation Office offers a fun and informative orientation program catered to your unique needs. New Student Orientation will take place on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Parents/Guardians are welcome, but not required, to attend! Please note: orientation is required for new freshmen. It is important you attend orientation in order to begin your academic career as prepared as possible. A tentative schedule of events for the day will be posted soon. Please note: a required $95.00 orientation fee will be included in your spring billing statements.

Intended to be your “home away from home,” this panel of resources includes representatives from: Police and Safety, Counseling services, Health services, campus banking and more!

10:30-11 a.m. - New@BU What Do I Do?(students)
Enough about the nuts and bolts! Let’s break into groups to meet your TRANSFERmation Assistant and your fellow new students! Your workshop location is listed on the front of your folder label.

Whether this is your 1st or 5th student to send off to college, sometimes, resources and policies vary school to school. Learn about the opportunities specific to BU, and how you are just as much a part of our community as your student!
