BLOOMSBURG—Sheila Carabine and Amanda Walther of the acoustic/folk group Dala will perform Friday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Carver Hall, Kenneth S. Gross Auditorium. Tickets for the Celebrity Artist Series performance are $29.50 for adults, $16.50 for children, and $14 for BU students.

Nominated for a JUNO Canadian Music Award and winners of the Canadian Folk Music Award for Vocal Group of the Year, Dala combines acoustic pop/folk music to create their own unique brand. Harmonies and on-stage humor create a presence of chemistry between the two. They have toured North America, performing at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and California’s Strawberry Festival and Mariposa. “Dala seem bound for a loftier place where substance stands equal to style,” said The Irish Times.
