BLOOMSBURG — Randall Robinson, professor of law at Penn State University, will present two lectures at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, April 18. During the first lecture at 3 p.m. in Kehr Union, Multipurpose room A, he will discuss the role students have in social advocacy; at 7 p.m. in Carver Hall, Kenneth S. Gross Auditorium, he will talk about “The King Legacy and the Myth of the Post-Racial Society.” The lectures, part of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 2012 tribute, are free and open to the public

Robinson created TransAfrica, an advocacy organization in Washington, D.C., that seeks to influence United States foreign policy with African countries. He has also authored the books, “Defending the Spirit” and “The Debt,” which look at racial issues in modern society.

Robinson’s lectures are sponsored by the Academic Affairs, Social Equity and Diversity and Retention offices; College of Business; Multicultural Affairs; Black Cultural Society; and Black History Committee.
