BLOOMSBURG — Bloomsburg University’s department of art and art history presents the exhibit, "Art of the Alumni 2011," open to the public Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Haas Gallery.

Admission is free to the exhibit which will be on display through Sept. 9.

The 14 alumni whose work is exhibited graduated from BU with either a bachelor’s or master’s degree in studio art. Some art on display is inappropriate for younger viewers and intended for mature audiences.

The closing reception for the art exhibition will be held on Friday Sept. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hass Center.

Bloomsburg University is one of 14 universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The university serves approximately 9,000 students, offering comprehensive programs of study in the colleges of Education, Business, Liberal Arts and Science and Technology.
