Orchestra performs at Symphony Ball

BLOOMSBURG — The Bloomsburg University - Community Orchestra will host a benefit symphony ball on Saturday, April 30, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Caldwell Consistory, 150 Market St., Bloomsburg.
The event is open to the public with a general admission of $10. All proceeds benefit the BU-Community Orchestra. Reservations are required.
Dance music, including Strauss waltzes, polkas and big band ballads, will be performed throughout the evening by the BU-Community Orchestra, conducted by Mark Jelinek. The Burgess, Mitchell and Seal Trio will play upbeat tunes.
The Susquehanna International Dancers will perform and offer dance lessons from 6 to 7 p.m.
