Chamber Singers present Evensong Concert

Chamber Singers BLOOMSBURG — The Bloomsburg University Chamber Singers will get into the holiday spirit when they perform the Evensong Concert Saturday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, 345 Market St., Bloomsburg. The concert is free and open to the public.

“For many years, Chamber Singers has had the honor and pleasure of opening the BU holiday concert season,” said Wendy Miller, conductor. “To provide a meaningful and enjoyable ‘premiere,’ we sing a mix of many styles of music from Renaissance motets to popular Christmas songs.”

The concert will consist of 13 holiday classics such as, “In Dulci Jubilo,” “Feliz Navidad” and “Christmas Time Is Here.” Several solo and duet pieces will be performed by the singers.
