Chicago dance group to hold workshops

For immediate release: April 15, 2010

BLOOMSBURG — The AMEBA Acrobatic and Aerial Dance Company of Chicago will present three master class workshops in Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Mitrani Hall Friday, April 30. The group will provide instruction on low trapeze, bungee, swinging ropes, harnesses and silk climbing. The workshops are open the community.

The two-hour workshops at 1, 3:30 and 7 p.m. will cover the basics and include a performance demonstration. Advance registration is required and the fee is $20 for BU students and $30 for non-students. It is suggested participants have prior physical training experience.

AMEBA Acrobatic and Aerial Dance Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating, performing and teaching.
