BLOOMSBURG — Five senior computer science majors will share their software engineering projects in the last presentation of the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics Seminar Series 2007 at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. The presentation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Centennial Hall, room 108, and is open to the public and free of charge.

Students from the software engineering class instructed by Curt Jones, professor of mathematics, computer science and statistics, will present a summary of their class project, a weather application for Jeff Brunskill, assistant professor of Envionmental, Geographical and Geological Sciences. The students started the project this semester; it will be completed by future students in collaboration with faculty and students from the department of Envionmental, Geographical and Geological Sciences. The program will feature 10- to 15-minute discussions by each student, accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation.

Student participants are: Chad Betts, Danville; Jacob Kelly, Shamokin Dam; Matthew Rhoades, Elysburg; Anthony Tersine, Red Hill; and Paul Zipko, Lititz.
