Abstract Submission

The ISCC invites submission of abstracts by undergraduate authors. Please download and complete the abstract submission form, and submit it electronically as an attached file. Abstracts must be confined to the space of the text box on the form.

They must be received by email to ISCC@bloomu.edu by 4 p.m. Friday, April 6. Please save the abstract file as: lastname-firstname-institution.doc(x) (e.g. Smith-John-WhatsamattaU.doc) with ISCC Abstract as the subject of the email.

We will make every effort to accommodate author division requests, but we must reserve the right to reassign abstracts to other divisions and to be selective if demand exceeds our ability to provide space and related services.

Presentation File Submission

We require receipt of presentation files, as PowerPoint presentations, via e-mail to
ISCC@bloomu.edu before 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 12. Please save the presentation files as: lastname-firstname-institution.ppt(x) (e.g. Smith-John- WhatsamattaU.ppt) with ISCC Presentation as the subject line of the email.

It's strongly recommended that students bring a copy of the presentation on a USB drive as well. We will be providing Microsoft-based PCs running on Office 2007 for the presentations.

Presentations

Time Limit — 12 minutes maximum; two minute alert at 10 minutes. Questions - three minutes.

Format — should be delivered using PowerPoint. A projector, laser pointer, and computer with Windows 7 and PowerPoint 2007 will be available in each room. Your PowerPoint file must be sent as an attachment to ISCC@bloomu.edu before 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 12.

Please save the presentation files as: lastname-firstname-institution.ppt(x) (e.g. Smith-John- WhatsamattaU.ppt) with ISCC Presentation as the subject line of the e-mail. In addition, please bring a copy of your file on a flash (USB) drive. Be sure that your projected slides can be read easily from the back of a classroom.

First and Second Place award winners will be selected from each division.
