The Department of Nursing at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania which has an accredited BSN and MSN program is seeking applicants for an ongoing pool of candidates for instructor positions. Primary responsibilities: Teach graduate/undergraduate courses in both the clinical and didactic components in our BSN/MSN program.
Eligibility for Pennsylvania RN licensure; advanced practice certification, if applicable. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
Candidates with doctorates in nursing or related field are encouraged to apply.
Graduate (clinical/didactic) and Undergraduate (didactic):
Minimum MSN or graduate degree in pertinent subject area; expertise in area of instruction.
Undergraduate (clinical only):
MSN preferred, minimum BSN; clinical experience in specialty area; BSN applicants must have plan for continuing graduate education.
In addition, all finalists must (a) communicate well; (b) successfully complete an interview process; and (c) (didactic only) successfully complete a teaching demonstration as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty.
