MASS COMMUNICATIONS: Temporary Faculty Applicant Pool

The Mass Communications Department at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is updating its temporary pool of candidates for faculty positions. The department is seeking applicants with the ability to teach in television, public relations or journalism. In addition, applicants are sought to teach in the department core, which includes media law and theory of the media. Master's degree in appropriate field required, PhD in appropriate field preferred.

Finalists for this position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process. Candidates must be able to demonstrate ability to work with diverse populations. Recommendation for hiring will be based on a majority vote of the regular, full-time faculty.

Prior to a final offer of employment the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and credential verification, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and criminal background.
