Temporary Adjunct Faculty Pool for Business Law

The Business Education and Information and Technology Management Department of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania seeks to build a pool of part-time Business Law instructors who may be called upon to fill emergency openings or temporary openings. This pool will be active during the period March 31, 2014 through March 31, 2016.

The instructor would teach undergraduate business law courses, as needed. A JD is required. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and prior collegiate teaching experience are preferred. Completion of scholarly activities, such as journal articles or continuing education presentations are desirable. Applicants' credentials will be kept on file for 24 months with the option of renewal. Finalists for any opening must communicate well, successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty.
