The Innovation, Technology, and Supply Chain Management Department of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania seeks to build a pool of part-time Information and Technology Management instructors who may be called upon from time to time. This pool will be active during the period March 31, 2016 through March 31, 2018.
For teaching of 100 level information technology management courses, the pool members must hold a Master’s Degree (required) or a Doctorate Degree (preferred) in the Information Systems (IS), Computer Science (CS), Information Science and Technology (IST), Information Technology Management (ITM), or other business and technology related degrees such as Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a concentration in technology from a regionally accredited institution. For teaching of 200 level and above information technology management courses, pool members must hold a Master’s Degree (required) or a Doctorate Degree (preferred) in the Information Systems (IS), Computer Science (CS), Information Science and Technology (IST), Information Technology Management (ITM), or a technology related discipline from a regionally accredited institution. Or, consideration for all position levels may also be given to those with a Master's Degree and experience working in a technology field and/or certifications relevant to that specific course requirements. Completion of scholarly activities, including refereed journal articles and professional certifications are desirable. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred. Finalists must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty.
