The Business Education and Information and Technology Management Department of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania seeks to build a pool of part-time Information and Technology Management instructors who may be called upon from time to time. This pool will be active during the period March 31, 2014 through March 31, 2016.
The pool members must hold a Master’s Degree (required) or a Doctorate Degree (preferred) in the Information Systems (IS), Computer Science (CS), Information Science and Technology (IST), Information Technology Management (ITM), or a technology related discipline from regionally accredited institution. Completion of scholarly activities, including refereed journal articles and professional certifications are desirable. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred. Finalists must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty.
Courses to be taught may include but are not limited to the following:
Undergraduate courses: Information and Technology Management Applications, Project Management, Telecommunications, Information and Technology Management, Human and Technology Interaction Management, and Systems Security Management.
