Department of Economics Temporary Adjunct Faculty Pool

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania's Department of Economics is seeking to establish a pool of candidates for temporary teaching positions who may be called upon from time to time. Future openings may be available from June 18, 2013 through June 17, 2015.

Applicants must possess a Master's Degree in Economics from a regionally accredited institution. Ph.D. in economics preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations required. Teaching experience and appropriate professional certifications preferred. Course assignments may include but are not limited to Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Business and Economic Statistics I and Business and Economic Mathematics.

Review of applications will begin immediately. Finalists for the position(s) must communicate well and successfully complete a telephone interview process. Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full-time faculty within the department.
