The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry seeks to fill a one-year full time temporary position at the Instructor level, in an ACS-approved program, to begin fall 2014. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Experience in teaching general chemistry is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is also preferred. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty. Finalists for the position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and teaching demonstration, as judged by the department faculty.
