PASSHE provides all permanent employees group life insurance administered by Prudential. This plan covers employee up to one-times their annual salary. AFSCME limit $40,000; all others $50,000.

Voluntary Group Life and Personal Accident Insurance

Voluntary Group Life and Personal Accident Insurance is available to all permanent full-time employees (including temporary, full-time faculty with at least an academic year contract), or permanent, part-time employees (including temporary, part-time faculty with at least an academic year contract) who are schedule to work every pay period for at least 50 percent of full-time and is offered at 100 percent cost to the employee. Long Term Disability Insurance

Long Term Disability (LTD) coverage is available to all permanent full-time employees (including temporary, full-time faculty with at least an academic year contract), or permanent, part-time employees (including temporary, part-time faculty with at least an academic year contract) who are scheduled to work every pay period for at least 50 percent of full-time. LTD coverage would allow you to receive monetary benefits designed to help you maintain your normal lifestyle in the event of a covered disability or illness, whether they occur on or off the job.
