The mission of Bloomsburg University’s College of Education is to prepare ethical educational professionals who are empowered to assess and facilitate the development of all learners to succeed and lead in our diverse and technologically complex world. We provide a progressive, challenging curricula coupled with our distinguished experienced faculty who provide vital knowledge and skills to develop competence in the multifaceted roles of advanced educational practices.

The curricula is offered in a blended program format, with many courses offered online while others provide a collaborative face-to-face experience on the campus of Bloomsburg University.

Graduate students of the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership employ leadership behaviors as they engage in responsive, accountable, and autonomous practices designed to meet the needs of dynamic school environments while serving as a resource to their communities.

Educational Leadership Programs (M.Ed.)

Bloomsburg University offers four M.Ed. tracks including:

Candidates acquiring a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership are required to complete 15 credits of core classes: 9 in leadership and 6 in research. Overall Programs range from 30-45 credits depending on the chosen specialization.
