Get acquainted with the New CGA Executive Board!

Ashley Wallace - President (Email: cgapres@bloomu.edu)

Hi! I am Ashley Wallace, CGA President. I am a junior from Hawley, Pennsylvania and a dual major in Special and Elementary Education. Along with CGA, I am involved in many student organizations on campus and hold several executive positions within them. My activities include Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC), Orientation Workshop Leaders (OWLS), Homecoming Committee Chair and Special Olympics volunteering. I joined CGA to become a voice for students as the Class of 2014 President and was also given the opportunity to serve as the Historian on the Executive board during my first year. Striving to move forward with my leadership role, I was elected Secretary and plan to continue my positive influence and motivation to be a strong voice for the students of Bloomsburg University as your President. I plan to stay involved at Bloomsburg for the duration of my education. Upon graduation in 2014, I plan to further my education and obtain a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. As a final token to my introduction, I will leave you with two words that have helped me accomplish many goals in my career at Bloomsburg: DON’T WAIT. Don’t wait to step outside your comfort zone and get involved, to take advantage of opportunities and to become immersed in BU to truly call this place home.

GO HUSKIES!

I am a member of the Bloomsburg Student Concert Committee and have had the opportunity to meet recording artists like J. Cole and O.A.R through my work at the concerts. I am also an independent recording artist, producer, and singer/songwriter and can be seen at many venues both on campus and in the surrounding areas. I have recently finished my first self-produced album "Love Notes" and I am excited to continue my career as a musician. I hope to graduate early and continue my education overseas, obtaining a Master's degree in Criminology and Investigative Studies. My future career goal is to be a Private Investigator and to work all over the world. I want to leave a unique, lasting impression on Bloomsburg before I leave and hope to show everyone I come in contact with that life is truly all about passion. Strengthen the ties that bind and true happiness you will always find.
