BU assists regional businesses through economic development in seeking funding under the statewide Customized Job Training (CJT) grant program administered by Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

Guaranteed Free Training (GFT), as one of the statewide WEDnetPA partners, Bloomsburg University can assist companies in seeking FREE training dollars to meet the company's ongoing training needs.

Workforce Development

BU's Corporate and Continuing Education specializes in assessing training needs of the regional workforce and working with companies to customize training programs that are responsive to the development of their incumbent workforce. The division offers corporate training initiatives and two specialized grant programs administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development — Customized Job Training grants and WEDnet PA Guaranteed Free Training (GFT).
