Registration

We offer three fast and easy ways to register for noncredit courses:

Payment

You must pay for your course at the time of registration. Make checks payable to "Bloomsburg University." We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Gift certificates

Purchase a "Gift of Learning" certificate for a family member or friend. Call 570-389-4420 for more information.

Registration Deadlines

We'll accept your registration form and payment up until the course reaches its enrollment limit. Secure a seat in the class of your choice by registering early. Substitutions are welcome up until the start of the class.

Refunds / Cancellations

  • Bus Trips: Due to the financial commitments required for our bus trips, we cannot honor refund requests once a trip has been confirmed. If we have people on a waiting list and can find someone to take your place, we will refund your payment minus a $10 processing fee. If you have a friend who would like to go in your place, you may transfer your seat to them; just give us a call at 570-389-4420 so that we can update our roster.
  • Courses with rain dates: If a course is rained out on the scheduled class date, you will be notified that it will be held on the rain date. If you cannot attend on the rain date, we will refund your payment minus a $10 processing fee.
  • All other courses: If you cancel at least one business day before the course begins, we will refund your payment minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds can be issued after a course begins.
  • If we must cancel a course for any reason, you will receive a full refund. Sometimes we have to cancel due to low enrollment, although every effort is made to run all classes. Registering as early as possible and inviting your friends to join you can help prevent cancellations.

Class Confirmations / Locations

Your class location will be listed in the confirmation letter which will be mailed to you when the class reaches sufficient enrollment. If time does not allow for mail delivery, we will call you. If you're concerned because you have not heard from us, please call 570-389-4420.

Some classes do not meet every week; please check carefully for "skip" dates. Classes meeting on main campus will not meet during university vacations unless you are notified otherwise.

Cancellations

In case of inclement weather, you may call our office at 570-389-4420 for updated information about rescheduled or postponed mini-courses.

Corporate and Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, limit enrollment, split or combine classes, and to change instructors and class locations. Every reasonable effort will be made to give you advance notice of such changes.

If you finish a course and are not completely satisfied, you are guaranteed a 100% refund...no questions asked, no explanation required. We regret that the cost of materials purchased for a course is not refundable.
