González, Ph.D. CCC-A is the department chairperson and director of the Vestibular Laboratory at Bloomsburg University.

His areas of expertise include vestibular anatomy and physiology, vestibular disorders, evaluations, and rehabilitation. He currently teaches courses on topics including vestibular function/assessment, auditory neuroanatomy, and clinical audiology to Doctor of Audiology students. He worked as a clinical audiologist at the University of Virginia, where he focused his work on the assessment and treatment of vestibular disorders. González’ research interests include vestibular anatomy and physiology and clinical audiology, with an emphasis on the rotational chair and otolithic disorders.

He is a consultant for Neuro-Kinetics, Inc., a US manufacturer of vestibular equipment on audiologic issues and training. He has presented and published on vestibular issues. González has given presentations at Ajou University Hospital in Suwon, South Korea, Mexico City, Mexico, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the American Balance Society, and the Bárány Society; the world’s premier vestibular/balance organization.
