Summer Enrichment Program

Summer Enrichment
Students admitted to Bloomsburg University through Act 101/EOP must participate in placement testing and complete a six-week, pre-college summer program.

Faculty will assess each student's potential for success during each week of the summer program on:

  • grades
  • attitudes
  • attendance

Attendance at Bloomsburg University in the fall is guaranteed only
if these criteria are met.

Group Activities

  • Mindfulness
  • Discussion
  • Tutoring support
  • Study hall
  • Academic advising
  • Daily routine designed to prepare students for the rigors of higher education

Purpose

    The summer program is designed to help students make a successful transition to college by exposing them to experiences to improve basic skills, psychosocial adjustment and facilitating students to the college environment.
